Biography

​
Born in the summer of ’74, Laurent Stelleman’s life took direction when his
father gave him a guitar at the tender age of 7. An avid student of classical
guitar, life would soon take a turn for the worst when he joined his first rock
band aged 15, and started gigging, songwriting, recording, and general rock &
roll. After graduation, he chose to further his education at the Jazz Studio in
Antwerp, then at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels.


In 2002, he joined Belgian indie band « Monsoon », recorded 4 critically
acclaimed albums and toured Belgium, France, Germany,...
He then continued developing his personal and musical styles through a
successful freelance career playing, touring and recording for different artists, including
Lunascape, Flesh & Fell, Saint, Goudi, Bai Kamara Jr, Vincent Liben, Marie Warnant,

Auryn, Sarah â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Carlier, Zop hop hop, and many more...​​

Laurent has continuously been songwriting with various singers and lyricists
and has excellent production skills. He currently spends a good deal of time in
the company of various instruments and a computer and has collaborated with
some great artists, including Delphine Gardin (Monsoon), Arker, Louiz, Pierre
Goudesone (Goudi, Flesh & Fell), Julie Dambly (Yoko Sound),...
